965 you dont even notice. with even the smallest epix/fenix you have to take it off and take breaks.
I wore my watch 24/7/365 for like 8+ years, so 965 was the better choice.
Now im really only wearing for workouts and then put it on for sleep. Sometimes ill wear it during the day, sometimes Ill wear other "normal" watches, so I wouldnt mind having a fenix now.

Would this be worth upgrading to? So many Garmin deals last few days, but hard to keep track of all the model variations. If I wanted to max battery life, I should get one that has solar right?
I run with an Epix Pro (but used to own the Epix Gen 2.) If the 965 is also available for the same price, I'd still choose the Epix Gen 2 (better materials and lens material.) I think the Epix/Fenix also has a better UI than the Forerunner, but that's mostly aesthetic. The weight is negligible IMO (I wear mine practically 24/7.)
