Does anyone know if/when the 5 year price guarantee plan will come back for Visible? I have to change carriers by year and wondering if I should wait for it instead of this promo?

Do yourself a favor and if it's available to you (and it should be if you're looking at Visible), just get US Mobile.
Context: Initially Verizon customer for 15 years, than T-mobile for 12. Then tried Mint, Visible, back to T-Mobile.. and now US Mobile.
TLDR case for US Mobile vs Visible. US Mobile is cheaper, has better plans , is priority traffic (i.e. as if you were a 1st party Verizon subscriber) and has x10000 better customer services. Also has x10000 times better self-service app and online experience.
Case for Visible: Literally nothing, unless you like paying more for less and worse service.
TBH I have no idea why anyone even uses anything except US Mobile. The only possible cons I can find is that some 1st party plans might have ever-so-slightly better international roaming coverage based on what country you're in.
US Mobile also has a very unique ability to switch between Verizon and ATT using eSim, on the fly you can do it self-service in the app.
I honestly don't understand (nor care) what sort of deal US Mobile made with Verizon to get priority traffic. If you pay annually, it works out to 22.50 month for unlimited data, 30gb of that being priority/Ultrawide band (after tracking my data since the first iphone came out, my monthly average is probably around 8-10gb).
Verizon network is the best hands down and US Mobile is the best way to use Verizon network, visible is like verizon but slower with even worst customer service. T-Mobile is great when it actually works. Mint is the slow-cousin version of T-mobile that was throttled so heavily during peak sometimes I couldn't get a webpage to load.
Oh, US Mobile also just began offering both companion and standalone apple watch plans. I was paying $20 per watch for my kids, now I pay $6.50 per watch for the exact same plan/network. And yes, it's like first party service, not MVNO crap.

Wow that's kinda f*cked. They had a timer on their website that said the deal was ending in 1 hour and 7 minutes..... 7 minutes later, the deal expired.

You chose the base plan for Visible which is de-prioritized, which explains the pretty slow/bad service. The plus is much better with priotized data with unlimited high speed data in ultra wideband areas, speed uncapped after using premium data (unlike US Mobile which caps speed at 1 Mbps after using premium data), and unlimited data although speed capped (10 Mbps) hotspot data versus 10GB or 50GB capped data from US Mobile.
Comparing base plans, US Mobile is better if you're not going to use over 35 GB of data especially since it's prioritized data. But if you do go over that and don't mind de-prioritized data, Visible is the way to go. Use their trial and see how de-prioritization fairs in your area. I wish Visible would also put the plus plan as a trial (even a short one week trial would suffice) so better decisions can be made. I could see the slowdowns of the base plan.
I'm on Visible+ and I get 700Mbps - 1.4Gbps in my area when I have full bars. It's fast and stable for me. Never had to use customer support so I can't comment on that.
As for the premium plans for both, it's almost a wash. If you use a ton of data, Visible+ wins (over 100 GB+). If you use less than 100 GB, then either is probably the same exact service and similar cost (edge given to US Mobile for better customer service?).
I switched to Visible Basic when the 5-year plan for $15 a month came out, and although the data speed is limited to 30 Mbps when on 5G, I am satisfied.
The 30 Mbps speed limit is not the case for everyone. Some people have it and some don't. I don't know exactly what the criteria are for it.
There is no speed limit when on 4G LTE.
They say the customer service is bad, but I didn't feel it in my case.
I am very satisfied with Visible.
