Can I activate a locked iPhone 13 using a physical SIM card, then transfer the same SIM card to another unlocked phone while keeping the iPhone 13 in active status? After 60 days, will the iPhone 13 be automatically unlocked under these conditions?

Just bought it. One question, do I have to port in my US Mobile number right after I get the iPhone 13? I just got my US mobile monthly plan renewed and still have 28days to go. I was a little confused by following the purchase process on Visible website. If I don't have to port in number right away, how long I could hold off the transfer.

For activating the new plan, the answer for me was no. I need the iphone to start the plan.

I dont know if it can be used with verizon.

I am confused, I chatted with visible, they told me that I cannot use sim card in another unlocked phone within 60 days, otherwise the 60-day clock will be violated

Appreciate the write up! I bought earlier while cross referencing the previous thread but this would have saved so much time. I opted to trade in my worn iPhone 8 for a $100 credit, so fingers crossed on how that would be awarded...

I think you can get a new number, I remember to see option to get a new number instead of bringing over your existing number during the checkout process!

Careful, there are stories on Reddit of people who transferred their Visible line over to a different phone prior to the 60 days and their Visible phone didn't unlock because of that.
