Somehow cheers2u didn't apply to my order after I place the order. It charge the iPhone 13 $629 plus taxes. I am on to cancel it thru their chat system.

There's a lot of other threads with comments reiterating the point that you need to have 60 days of active service on the phone for it to get automatically unlocked. It seems like there is a timer that gets reset if you put into another phone.

But after carefully checking "promo codes" between different deals, this one does NOT require port in from a competitor carrier which unlike other deal eg. $250 gc one says on the page.
