You have to bring your own number. This might be a deal breaker for me. I was needing a new number for my daughter.

There were a few posts in the other thread that said they ported in from GV. I ordered this afternoon and selected "Other" in the list and entered my GV info and the order has processed and shipped. Can they deny the port/promo once I receive it and try to activate it? Then what, they will bill me the full price of the phone at $629? Ugh.
I just ported in from Google Voice and got the phone today. The GV number is currently half-ported since it was originally a land line, which can take up to 5 days to port. Calls out show the ported number in caller ID, but calls in still go to GV. Data works fine though, which is the main reason I got it anyway. I expect the port will finalize soon if I ever want to use it as an incoming number.

Wow great! So there wasn't any mention of invalidating the promo by using GV?

Nope, no problem qualifying but I did have a hiccup or two with the form. Tried changing to pSIM instead of eSIM which borked everything and I had to start over. But using GV was not a problem.

I'm coming from T-Mobile prepaid. Does anyone have any idea where to get the Port out PIN? I've been searching forums, and in the account home. Only see a PIN but it's 6 digits and not 4 as suggested by Visible. If anyone else has done this recently, please could you point me in the correct direction?

Can this phone be used on the Varizon network or just visible? Im planning to sell mine too an ebay. Can we activate the plan without the opening the new phone?
You need to open the phone because you need to insert the SIM if physical and download the visible app to activate regardless.

Thanks so much for confirming!

Update: Got the phone and GV ported in just fine and everything is working as it should. Promo secured! (FWIW I used the Other menu selection for port-in carrier)

For trade in, I tried Iphone SE 16GB which they only gave me $0 but if it is 32GB, then it would be $100 credit.

The port out PIN # is your PIN # when you call T-Mobile prepaid customer service. CS said only give new port PIN # for postpaid T-Mobile plan line. Don't forget, trade in old phones for $100. I am trade in 2011 Moto Tracfone phone bought from QVC for $35 with 1 year service.

Yes. Just don't fill out the port info correctly. Just give the wrong pin.
What will happen if I provide the wrong pin? I am planning to buy this deal but want to activate in January.

7) some that were with visible ported out and back in but it might be too late to do that now.Already ported out to US Mobile 3 days ago, Can I port back in to visible to get this deal? Thank you 🙏🏽
For what it's worth, I just ordered the phone from a number I had on US Mobile, and Visible lists US Mobile in the drop-down menu as one of the carriers from which one is porting a number. I didn't have to write in the carrier name, which I think was the case on the older thread from last week for people from US Mobile.

They had no idea. They even shipped the order and now i have to reject delivery tomorrow.
Did you choose to get a new number, or did you port an existing number of yours from another carrier? Because if you did the former, I could see why they charged you the higher price.
