You have to bring your own number. This might be a deal breaker for me. I was needing a new number for my daughter.

I activated yesterday, ported from metro. I gave a wrong port out pin. Other than that, I didn't face any problem
Can I know what you meant '. I gave a wrong port out pin.'? Did you provide a wrong PIN on purpose when you ordered the phone and later you used another PIN when activating the pone and porting the number in? If that's the case, did you need to call the Visible customer service to complete the porting? thanks

Just got the package in 2 days. Have a question if anyone knows. Can I just activate the SIM card with my other phone and the iPhone 13 will still be eligible for unlock after 60 days or does it need to be activated with the iPhone 13?

After activating the SIM on the new phone can I move it back to my old phone? Will it still unlock?

no, not on purpose, i gave the login pin instead of port-out pin. i thought both were same. i got an email that they hit a problem and gave a link. i entered the new pin in the link and saved. porting completed in next 15mins.

You have 30 days to activate. I'm not sure what happens after 30 days (maybe it auto-activates?).
I can definitely activate within 30 days. What happens to the account you ported over? Do you still get that plan? I just started another month with LycaMobile and don't want to lose out on my monthly plan payment, but do want to get that number ported over to get the iPhone by next week.

When you port a number away, it terminates the line. Order the phone from Visible now, but hold off on activating the plan.

Visible said I would still have access to the other line until I fully activated the new iPhone with the provided sim. I messed up big time apparently going to Lyca Mobile. I read some online reviews and they said that in order to get the account number and pin, they hold you hostage and make you call a bunch of times and still don't do it. Anyone had that experience or have any tips? I'm beyond scared now.

Also visible customer service said on their chat that you have to enter port info in right after you purchase the free phone.

Did you sign up for the Lyca unlimited $12.25/month for 6 months deal? I am porting 3 lines from Lyca and I was also worried based on what I'd read online but I think they've cleaned up their act (I bet all those FCC complaints played a big part LOL) as it turned out that getting the account number and port-out pin wasn't too hard. However, you need to be prepared. One thing you should do to prepare is call two numbers a bunch of times from each line that you're planning to port-out because they will ask you for your two most frequently called numbers for verification purposes. The other thing you should do is find out when your last payment was and the payment amount (including tax).

Anyways, what I did was call 612 (Lyca CS) from my Lyca lines (I made separate calls from each line). Each time they asked me why I was requesting this info and I told them it was just for my own records. They did not give me any pushback and proceeded by sending a 6-digit pin via text message. Then they asked me to provide 2 frequently called numbers, the last top-up date and amount, and method of payment. For the second and third lines they also asked for the last 4 digits of the credit card used.

Actually for the second line I had to call twice as the first rep I spoke with said that the line was a "premium line" and he didn't have access to the info and that I would have to email my request in for the admins to handle. I waited a few hours and called back and got a different rep who was able to help me.

As for the third line, it seems that their system didn't like the two frequently called numbers that I had provided as the rep asked for two additional numbers. I fumbled around looking through the call history and just gave him two other numbers that I saw (this was my son's phone). When he asked for the last 4 digits of the credit card used, I also couldn't remember which one I had used for this line (I had to switch credit cards when I signed up for this line as their system wouldn't let me to sign up for the $12.25/month deal more than twice with the same cc). As I was signing into my various banking accounts trying to find out which cc I had used, the rep said let's try something else and asked me for the ICCID of the ESIM which was easy to find under settings. After providing this info their verification system was happy.

After completing verification, each time the reps said they would send separate text messages with the account number and transfer PIN, but each time I only received a single text message with the PIN so they just read out the account number over the phone.

Anyways I hope this helps and good luck!

That's right, you do need to provide the account number and transfer PIN when you place the order. But I think this is pretty standard as Metro is the same way.

For c1,"Only eligible within 3 statement cycles of being an active customer" , will 1 year plan work?

Yes it will. I activated my line for this deal on the iPhone 13 with a physical SIM, then moved it to my Pixel 9 Pro. Service works perfectly on my P9P. Whether the iPhone 13 will unlock after 60 days, I don't know, but moving the SIM to a different phone worked fine for me.
Right on. I stand corrected then. My experience was different but it was some time ago. It should be simple.
