Probably the best corded miter saw on the market. Outside of like festool tier tools. Basically the best under 1000 bucks.

I think the Makita is better out of the box due to better dust collection and already having a laser, but you can mod this to have a shadowline and better dust collection from etsy. Also there's less deflection to worry about on the Makita but if you're careful with your cuts you'll be fine.

I doubt we'll see that combo again at that price. Maybe $699 though. I don't have a pressing need so I'll wait and see.

As far as a laser is concerned I would take the trade off of no laser for an axial arm. The arm just allows the saw to be better positioned in a shop up against a wall. I have multiple Oshlun laser attachments that I just slap on saws and that is a quick 30 second 30 dollar fix. I also have a reekon m1 on my Bosch so it's not really like I use it much anyway. The only thing it's kinda lacking in is a dust collection attachment made by Bosch. There is a 3rd party 3d printed one out there but nothing really offed by the manufacturer.

The Makita is also a zero Clearance saw and can be pushed right up against a wall. It's actually a little more compact than the Bosch.

Looks like Amazon sold out of there stock too, bummer I was about to bite.

I wish the 10" version would be reduced proportionately. There's also the Cyberdeal coupon for it, but it isn't already reduced it won't stack with the 150 off Bosch tools deal. If it did I'd bite on that one

I love this saw, have owned it for 2 years. I upgraded to the Shop Nation dust collector, makes a huge difference. Next up, I need to add a laser!
