So, this trick works for other Costco products as well. I am sharing Dyson V15 because that is what I had ordered using this.
Here are the steps to get about 20% discount on anything on Costco-
1. Buy Instacart Gift Cards (max 2 per card holder)
https://www.costco.com/instacart-$100-egift-card.product.4000235882.html
I bought two and asked two of my friends to buy the 3 other cards for me.
Total money paid $400, value = $500.
2. Order Dyson V15 (or any other product) from Instacart using these gift cards.
Instacart price will be about 1-2% higher than in store prices and it also adds service fee.
But in my case it was still better than buying in store.
My total was
Items Subtotal: $512.99
Tip: $5.00 (I live 3 mins away from Costco)
Service Fee: $9.75
Credit/Discount Applied -$2.00 (Choose later 3 hours window)
I do have Instacart+ through Chase.
