Mint has great marketing, but it ends at that!

We originally fell for that and the family had a lot of challenges especially during renewal the prices would go up at renewal and we would lose the number. it was simply not worth it and then any referrals would get flagged as warnings of abuse?? Wasn't that exactly what you advertised?!

It could be argued that the others are no better, you might be right with one exception. Their pricing promotions have longer options, so you don't have to worry about what to do every 3 months in panic mode to prevent losing your number.

Ultimately prepaid comes with a little bit of inconvenience but if you can bite the bullet on that and get a longer prepaid plan or at least one that's guaranteed option to stay the same price for 6 months or a year that would be the deal.

This is for existing customers. I am with them and received the email, I can join two more lines to the plan for $15 a month it seems.
I am with mint and recevied email. created mint mobile family and now what I have to do to get $15 a month deal ? Do I need to bring family members as "new" customers ? Would you like to write down the steps, that email was written half heartedly and coming from an organization for distribution to customers then I beleive it was intentionally written in that way to discourage existing customers.

I'm about to do this. I think it is:
1) activate new line/account with the current $45/3months promo
2) create Mint family using my current mint account (set up auto-renewal and CC)
3) invite new line/account into family
4) new line/account must accept within 24hrs of invite
From my understanding, the new line/account is the only one that renews at $45 every quarter for the next 7 quarters. Hoping the R-a-F works for the new line/account as well.

Really? How much download/upload speed? I performed speed test before and after switching and the results are 99/11, 834/35, 889/38 (Spectrum/Mint/Mint)

Speed is good. It's a 5G. I didn't measure the exact numbers. But the main thing is i never run out of data. The speed is always high. On mint, I ran out of data in 2 weeks, and the phone became a brick, no internet access unless I find a wifi plus coverage for calling was bad too

looking to bring 5 lines to mint as new customer. Best to do the 1 year $180 unlimited for each one? Or do one line and hope this $15/line for 2 years comes up on my account?

Probably it is true what you are saying, but since I almost never pass 30GB data any months, it won't apply to me. If it is the case that I will lose data so fast and the issue will arise, then I can always switch in 3 months again. Thanks for the info though.
