I personally have the EG4 power pro. It is cheaper, but you need to buy a separate inverter and connect electrical wires to make it work. Not everyone can handle that.

So, after parts and DIY labor, are you back up in this price range? I like the semi-portable nature of this setup.

With all the parts/tools and time spent, I would say not much cheaper than this setup. Also, my inverter only outputs 6000w, not 7200w in this case. DIY also has the risk or even fire danger if not handled correctly. With that said, I learned a lot during the process, and of course knowledge is priceless 😃
