I've used it a few times working on my car. Put a chisel or punch where the nail goes, and it'll hammer things apart. Really handy here in the rust belt. I used it last month to separate the hub from the swingarm while changing the rear wheel bearings.

The primary use case for this is easy maneuverability in tight spaces.

If you can't fit a nail gun or swing a hammer where a nail needs to go, then you need this. Otherwise switch to screws (if applicable) or reconfigure how that structure goes together.

Other than tight spaces and easier maneuverability, what's the primary use case of this compared to a nail gun? Trying to decide if this is worth it for one job, but if I'll use it a bunch it's worth it. It'll definitely make that one job easier to justify $100 to ME, cuz I'm the one doing it. I'm sure I'll find excuses to use it if I buy it tho.

This is a good alternative to a pneumatic palm nailer for driving nails into structural straps and joist hangers. You really only want to use this if you have a very tight space to work in, a strap nailer is much faster.

Crucifixion, mainly. This is an exact replica of the palm nailer used on Jesus, except obviously the branding is different.

Have you seen the size of this thing?! Really tight spaces don't appear to be it's specialty. If I had to choose 1 tool, it'd be the pneumatic palm nailer as they are much smaller than this.

That being said, I passed on it last time it was up but I ended up pulling the trigger on it as with the 10% cashback being offered on my US Bank card coupled with another 6% from a not-to-be-named cash back site made it more worthwhile. Even if I can't use it in the tighter spaces, not having to pull out my compressor for slightly roomier areas hopefully will make it a good purchase.

eh, nevermind. Seems the m12 comes in larger sizes too. Thought they were all like the one shown... CP1.5 it says, or CP2.0 or CP2.5 apparently. The extended capacity XC3.0 battery is more like the larger batteries I was suggesting they were intentionally trying to avoid to save room in tight places.

I'm a contractor. I've tried to talk myself into one several times, but answer is it just isn't useful enough. DIY'er will only find use for it because he's working hard to. Otherwise, you're just collecting. Spend the money on something far more useful.
