And GE gave me full credit for a Window AC that stopped working after 15 months even though it was out of the warranty period. They were reasonable and easy to deal with.
Whirlpool wanted $490 something to come look at my $750 2.5 year old upright freezer that stopped freezing. What a joke. That's when I called the local repairman.
picked up a gas range, over-the-range microwave, stainless steel interior dishwasher, and a large upright freezer - delivered and installed for $1300!!

I was told previously that they may not deliver it to the non-ground floor of the condo if the install is not selected (that they might drop it off in the mail room instead).
Also, it still needs to be balanced (adjust the feet). Whether they will do it is another story, but they are supposed to.
i shouldn't have listened to the folks saying it's not worth it with the install.
