I paid around $130 for Samsung a9+ and fire max 11 . Worth price difference to try iPad that's 2 yrs from release ?
I kind of have the same question. I have an A series and a Fire tablet. Both are laggy POS. I'm not an ios person but there are no good Android tablets at this price point. How's the performance of this iPad?

was it? did you search sd to verify this statement?
I just checked the interwebs and they told me that was a true statement. Thank for the nudge.

Ya I doubt you're curious and sounds like you don't actually own an iPad given the rhetorical question here. Do you really need the answer - streaming, web browsing, light gaming, productivity etc? Like gimme a break dude, don't waste the data and people's time asking this troll adjacent question
Did you forget your Metamucil today?

In case you were wondering, you do not sound smart regurgitating that phrase for the 1089753649th time on SD.

What do you all use your iPads for really? I have one, 12.9 pro 2nd gen, and I just don't use it like I thought I would.

Most things I just use my phone for, like typing this for example. For movies, we use TV's, and for reading books, I use my kindle.

Even the teenager in the house uses their phone and hasn't touched their iPad in 2 years.

I want to try using it more, but my phone is always with me and I can do everything on it.

Just curious really.
Agree, i have had my ipad pro and really never have free time to use it. Thought would use it more. One thing it comes in handy for is the pencil function to sign pdf documents with goodreader app. Now my son is 2 using it for him in the car

You shouldn't come up with reasons to use something more. If it's not working out for you don't buy a new one.
I use my iPad for everything you're using your phone for. I also watch a lot of my streaming content on mine. I don't have a tv in my bedroom by choice so if I want to watch something away from the living room it's on my ipad. I also don't have a kindle because…I have an ipad.
It's my daily driver. The 2nd most used device in my house

No Costco still offers the additional year of warranty on electronics. You have to buy their Allstate warranty.
You are correct. Apparently it excludes iPads but includes MacBooks and Mac Minis.

My wife just uses an old 32gb iPad for Netflix. Would this be a decent refresh for her?
Most definitely. Perfect device to view Netflix/Youtube on that will definitely show noticeable processing/speed upgrades

Wasn't this the normal sale price as of late?
I don't know about normal sale price, but it was this a few weeks back. I paid $250 at Amazon after coupon. It's under my tree now.

I would say that it is a personal preference thing. I have had several versions going back the first one, bought it at the Apple store when they had a 10% BF sale for $450. Wasn't sure if I would use it much, but I did. My current one is an Air 3. The battery is pretty much shot. Goes from 100% to low battery after about 3 hours. I also have an Iphone, currently a 14 Pro, but at home I use the Ipad about 75% of the time. I like the screen real estate. I use my phone when the battery is dead or I am not near it and need to lookup something. Again, personal preference and you may not agree.

Thanks. Really just curious how others are using theirs as maybe I was missing something.

Maybe because I have the pro max, larger screen, and my iPad is the 12.9, might be too large. Really just curious if I was just missing out on something and how others use theirs in their day.

Please sell your IPAD Pro so someone can make use of it. IPAD pro's are not cheap and 12.9 is a great screen size!
