Cause I am on the old "ONE" plan, got 6 paid lines and 6 free lines over the life of being a customer for 10 years.

Finally some deals for customers like me on older plans, I jumped on the previous deal for 800 trade on a old S9 I picked up on ebay. (trying to see if I can get buds).

I get what you are saying for those on the newer Go5G plans but I pay less than those MVNOs per line with my current plan.

I dropped my Pixel 6 at a CORPORATE T-Mobile store. AVOID authorized retailers aka 3rd party stores. I never had a great experience with them and a T-Mobile exec actually advised me to avoid them.

Yes, they give a receipt on spot so you know they received as expected. It's the best way to handle trade ins

I've ordered three phones and three sets of Buds. All processed and charged my credit card the expected amount for free Buds (plus tax). I'll let you know if something doesn't arrive!

AFAIK yes they just have to be TMobile customers themselves. So you can sell it as Tmobile locked, and it will unlock in 2 years when the bill credits are done. I don't plan on leaving this Tmobile plan so for me its a good way to recoup some cost of buying my family new phones, since there are no iPhone deals for us.

You can check the post, which has the link to the XDA thread that shows the instructions. OP say eSim doesn't work but some of the other posters say it works for certain carriers so I don't know. And it looks like some of the people lose their unlock status and some were able to get it unlocked again so it looks like a YMMV. I got it to work with a TracFone sim but I only tested it for a few minutes just to try, not planning to use it on TracFone. But yeah, it's worth a try, just not sure if an update or something else can cause it to lose the unlock.

I am asking here about the max 4 devices/account limit. Can we get the Pixel 9 on 5 lines or is it maxed out on 4?

For those that are planning to do this to resell as TMobile Locked Pixel 9, prices on Swappa shows them going for $450 right now with 3.5% seller fees and payment fees that will net $435 before the value of your trade-in device. Prices of Pixel 9 are dropping so be mindful. The Pixel A buds are hard to resell as they're only worth $50 brand new previously. Probably better to do a Pixel 9 Pro as they are more in demand than the other variations. Probably better to just use them as trade-in in 2 years for what it is worth.
