Cause I am on the old "ONE" plan, got 6 paid lines and 6 free lines over the life of being a customer for 10 years.

Finally some deals for customers like me on older plans, I jumped on the previous deal for 800 trade on a old S9 I picked up on ebay. (trying to see if I can get buds).

I get what you are saying for those on the newer Go5G plans but I pay less than those MVNOs per line with my current plan.

FYI, it let me upgrade a line on our magenta military plan that hadn't been upgraded yet, and I was able to add both a pixel 9 and the buds and get both promos. Too bad I already got my pixel 9 a week ago. Gonna chat with support and see what I can do.

T-Mobile recently changed its policy on bill credits so that (i) the line on which the promotion is activated cannot be cancelled and (ii) the phone subject to the promotion cannot be paid off (which is a pre-condition to unlocking). Doing either will end the monthly credits.

As of right now, the 9 Pro XL is "on us" for Go5g Plus and Next. Phone is $200 off ($999) in 256gb version and promotion is $999 off with top-tier trade.

Thanks. I am not going to cancel the line. Planning on selling tmo-locked phone on swappa. Want to list a sealed box item unless activation is a pre-requisite for bill credits.

I ordered two on the same line as well, which went through. I saw someone said on this or other thread that you can have up to four trade ins on the same line. My thought is I don't want to tie up another line for another 24 months, so may as well put the 2nd upgrade on the same line.

It still won't be paid off. So the person who buys your phone runs the risk of you not continuing payments and their phone being bricked.
The other concern is that they won't be able to trade this phone in, in the future because it needs to be paid off in order to trade in somewhere.
I don't think swappa allows phones to be listed that aren't paid off.
My son got stung, someone did this to him some years back. Bought an Iphone and it was bricked after he bought it.
I am in the same situation, would like to sell one or two, but wondering how to do it.

I know this is limited to 4/account. I tried a 5th and it seems to work, but gives me only $500 for trade in. I wonder if it is picking up some other promotion. Not going through with it for only $500 off.

I called for exact same reason and I was told that there is nothing like temporary unlock anymore.. phone can only be unlocked after it's fully paid up via installments..
That's what I was told by T-Mobile representative

You mistook my intention for that statement. My point was, it's possible to put more than one order per line since the activation of the device and monthly credit hasn't begin. So this allows the previous individual to resolve his issue having to pay extra for the earbuds.

As for what you're doing, the system is not approving two same promotions for one line. You will receive 1 promotion monthly credit per line.

I'm unable to checkout now. Pixel 9 and buds are in the cart and when I hit checkout, I get this: Oops! Something went wrong.

Tried couple of times on different browsers and the same error. So, the deal is dead?

Would you by any chance know if you can swap it with another phone number on the same account without jeopardizing the monthly credit?
