I'm on simple choice from 10 years ago. Lol
Should put "Bill Credits" in the title.
Cause I am on the old "ONE" plan, got 6 paid lines and 6 free lines over the life of being a customer for 10 years.

Finally some deals for customers like me on older plans, I jumped on the previous deal for 800 trade on a old S9 I picked up on ebay. (trying to see if I can get buds).

I get what you are saying for those on the newer Go5G plans but I pay less than those MVNOs per line with my current plan.

You don't need new account or line. You should be able to just upgrade online or via T-life app. Make sure to add both items on one order.
Yeah, just upgrade. I have older account "Simple" and it worked fine. I upgraded via the web.

gabe is not asking whether the phone can be paid off. He is asking if he can swap it with another number. I take it he is asking if can switch the credits over to a different phone number so he can cancel the other number, and I don't believe he can.
Yes, and I explained that it would make absolutely no difference to swap it with another number. T-Mobile does not care what phone is on what line or whether a phone is active on any line. He did not say anything about cancelling a line, which would be entirely another issue. Further, he seems to be asking whether he could swap another phone onto the line to keep the line credit.

The bottom line is that T-Mobile has closed these options for selling a phone under a payment contract, whether fair or sensible or not.

These are ALWAYS a rip off in the long run. Their monthly cell service requirement is at least double or triple the cost of MVNO like US Mobile. Unless you absolutely need a phone now (... suggestion, just get a cheaper phone until you can afford a nicer one). You're quite literally financing the phone at ""0% interest"" but paying a huge increase in cell service.

US M or similar MVNO:
Phone outright $799 + ($25/m service *24)= $1399

All these ""deals""
Phone at the end of the locked in contract via monthly credits $799 + ($60/m service *24) = $2239.

I'm getting 9 pro xl. not regular 9 so it's worth it to me.
OK. enjoy! I personally have the pixel 8 and i just can justify the 9 pro regular. is it that greatly improved or should i just wait pixel 10 ?

I have four lines on my account and we primarily use only two of them. My two trade ins I did for the pixel 9 were on my spare lines. I was wondering if I could swap the pixel for one of the phones on my primary lines. I don't plan on canceling any of the lines (my spare ones are free so I have no reason to).

We're not all paying crazy amounts for service. I have four lines and am paying sub $100. There's no reason not to do the trade in for a better phone (other than the $50 in taxes). I'm not leaving tmobile in the next couple years

I have 8 lines on magenda max for $140 per month. Tmobile is very generous on giving out free lines.

Here is a data point: order cancellation doesn't reduce the deal redemption count. So if you used the deal 4 times and then cancel one of orders, you still won't be able to use the deal. This may happen if you cancel the previous deal to get the one with Pixel Buds.

Look for T-Mobile Experience stores on the store locator page. Those are the easiest to deal with.
There are only 2 T-Mobile Experience stores around me and they are not that close. Does it have to be T-Mobile Experience stores or can it be T-Mobile Stores (not 3rd party reseller) and just be more hassle to deal with? Thanks!

This is less about signing up for new service to get this deal, than existing customers taking advantage of it since we're not going anywhere anyway. I buy our phones direct from Apple and pay full price, plus my plan is cheap so I might as well get a free phone out of it. The Pixel 9 Pro XL (net cost: ~$200) is really, really nice. If this deal doesn't expire before I can get another trade in, I'm going to use another line to get a Pixel 9.
