Nice deal for Chili.
If you are having trouble deciding:
OP is 10.848 cents per ounce
Chunky is 10.09 cents per ounce
($1.92 per can for a 19oz)
with the downside being that you have to buy 12.

I enjoy both; always switching things up as I keep several brands stocked in my pantry. Dennison's chunky seems a bit more "thick" to me, while the Campbell's chunky seems more "watery." I also like Hormel and Stagg brands of chili.

I like to hit it with an immersion blender and use it for chili dog or burger sauce.

I was suprised at how much Wendy's cost. I would rather go to their restaurant instead.

Man I used to work at Wendy's in the early 90s. All the old burgers got chopped up for the chili which is why it was always so salty. I can't imagine eating that stuff any more

Tried a can recently. HORRIBLE
I like Dennisons, but can't get it here, so I eat Hormel.
Also got the recent deal on the Jack Links Chili...also horrible.

My dad tells me Costco has the Stagg chili back. It's actually pretty good for a can chili.

This stuff is watery and doesn't taste much like chili, more like a soup. Stagg Silverdo beef is the best. Hormel Turkey is good, and their regular is OK, even the Walmart one is decent. I always add precooked frozen vegetables and extra spices when I have canned chili to make it a bit healthier and add flavor.

The price of chili is OBSCENE since covid. I eat a TON of canned chili all year so I wait for Amazon to have an amazing deal at $1.30 a can and I buy 6 or 8 cases at a time to get me through the year. I keep my favorite brands in my cart and check for price changes most every day. These deal only happen once or twice a year, and they sell FAST.
