That recip saw is a stretch (at best) for being on slickdeals, non XR version & brushed motor.

XR version here [homedepot.com] and can be bought with 4AH & 6AH battery kit for $199 or hacked (return batteries) to be half that price.

Everything else looks good!
Just be aware, the 3AH with the oscillating tool is the newer (not necessarily better) 3AH vs the flatter compact 3AH and no charger, if you're needing that.

So I can purchase the circular saw bundle and then return the 2 batteries at my local for $100?

The deal this is posted under... no
The deal I posted, yes

Add stuff to your cart, if it shows individual pricing, then you can keep or return each of those portions separately

Look at the deal I posted in the first link, go to the battery kit in the BOGO, then choose the circular saw...

Oh nice, bud! Thanks. That works.
Just gotta check with my father if he's ok with 6-1/2" sidewinder over a 7 1/4". We didn't bite on 7 1/4 for him b/c they're all left-handed. I don't care why -- We don't want it. I've tried it myself and hate it!

Can't really comment on blade left vs right, but I went from a 7¼ corded to that same 6½ cordless and I was pretty impressed and don't felt like I lost anything. The only downside is blade depth if he's cutting thick stuff often, just check blade depth at 90° & 45° and make the choice with that.
I think this 6½ will do 99% as well as the 20V 7¼, the flexvolt version (60V) is quite a bit stronger but also quite a bit larger. As a homeowner, I'm more than happy with 6½" (which is enough, definitely more than average... some would even say too much)

Looks like my pops already got his hands on a 6 1/2.
Told him I have a corded 7 1/4 if he ever needs too Smilie

Thanks, buddy. Happy holidays.
