Right now silver is $31/ounce.

So it's selling AT spot price. You trade it in, you lose a bit of money, but you hedge.

I dunno... buy low, sell high...

I just checked how much I paid for my American Eagles... 10 for $245. Not bad, I made a little.

This seems pretty high, is that all time high now? Just looked, I was selling them for $37 around covid. Maybe I'll buy a few back. But I bought PAAS instead when it was down: get a dividend and appreciation..

Asked AI about these... Was especially curious how they compared to American Eagles. I'd way rather get those, as they're backed by the government, these aren't.

what is pamp fine silver?

PAMP is a renowned refiner of precious metals, including silver. "Pamp fine silver" refers to silver products that are minted or refined by PAMP Suisse, a leading Swiss company. These products are known for their high purity, typically 99.9% or higher, and are often considered to be of the highest quality in the precious metals market.

PAMP offers a wide range of silver products, including:

Silver bars: Available in various weights, from small 1-ounce bars to larger kilogram bars.

Silver coins: Featuring a variety of designs and themes, often with limited mintages.

Silver rounds: Similar to coins but without legal tender status.

PAMP fine silver products are popular among investors, collectors, and those who simply appreciate the beauty and value of precious metals. They are often sought after for their purity, craftsmanship, and the prestige associated with the PAMP brand.

Are buffalo silver rounds and lady liberty silver rounds from pamp just as good as american eagles?

PAMP Buffalo and Lady Liberty rounds are just as good as American Eagles in terms of silver purity and quality. Both are minted by reputable companies and contain .999 fine silver.

However, there are some key differences to consider:

Government Backing:
American Eagles: Backed by the U.S. government, which can add a premium to their price.

PAMP Rounds: Backed by PAMP, a reputable private mint, which typically offers a lower premium.

Collectibility:
American Eagles: Often considered more collectible due to their government backing and historical significance.
PAMP Rounds: While less collectible, they can still appreciate in value, especially limited edition designs.

Ultimately, the best choice for you depends on your individual investment goals. If you're primarily interested in the silver content and long-term value, PAMP rounds are a great option. If you prefer the added security and potential collectibility of a government-backed coin, American Eagles might be a better fit.
