I just got these and really like them. They are more comfortable that the original Airpods, and the noise cancelling is impressive considering they don't stick in your ears.

I got the Pro 2s and my wife was asking if they were like the "new ones" as she dislikes how they stick in her ears but doesn't know if she'd like something like this that doesn't stick in her ears....

For $140 I'm willing to take that risk and if it doesn't work out then I'll just return 'em

Before you buy these, check your Ubereats app. Some Target location through the app is listing these as around $121. I've seen it drop to $117 a few minutes later and then back up to $121. I don't know what the deal is and how they price these on the app. But point being, some accounts also have $40 off as well bringing this down to $81. Fees can be pretty high if you don't have UberOne but you can likely sign up for a 7 day trial. My total came out to $112 with tax and tip.

If you return them, I'll be on the lookout for your "refurbished" ones at a discounted price. Please make sure your wifey cleans her ears before trying them on. Thanks.

Same with my dad, he hates the earbuds that plug your ears. He tried my Airpods 4 and then went and bought a pair himself. I have the AirPods Pro 2's as well, and I'm not sure which I like better. The ANC in the Pro 2's is maybe twice as good (likely due to the ear seal). However, the transparency mode on the 4's is exceptional and sounds almost completely natural (probably due to the lack of ear-seal), unlike the Pro 2's which has a "tinny-sound" to it. The main thing I miss is the volume control on the Pro 2's and the battery life. The ANC drivers on the 4's are jacked way up so they only last 3-4 hrs.

I have had all of AirPods at some point.

The OG sticks are comfy, but very "long"...felt like Elvis sideburns
The pro's / silicone tip did not work for me at all. Always fall out / move around

The previous AirPods were good, but a little fat inside of the ear. Still did NOT move like all of the non-silicone AirPods.

These new ones are fantastic! Much smaller diameter inside of the year.
LOVE transparency mode so if I start talking.....music automatically mutes so I don't have to pause / take out 1 AirPods.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND

If you can tolerate the in-ear style, get it.

I find AirPod Pros painful after an hour. Love these ANC AirPod 4s - can use all day.
