thanks i bought. also to note this works with new mini 4. I also sucked it up and bought the refurbished mini 3 directly from DJI for 335. i know the new ones were on sale for black friday cheaper but i missed it and cant seem to find any deals.

I always prefer the extended batteries; unless you are flying recreational and don't want to register, I see no need to have more than one regular battery and the rest should all be extended especially for the right price.

I guess I didn't realize I could just purchase the play more directly from dji for around the same price and not have to pay sales tax. O well.

FYI if you use the batteries from this kit, the weight of the drone goes over 250gm. That means you would need to register the drone.
