It's been awhile now, and yeah it sucks. I stopped shopping at Sam's for the most part because of that policy.

All of the 3, 5, and 7 cup containers share the same vented lids. The smaller 'sauce' containers and single large container do not have vented lids.

Few months ago.

My way around it is to order something else to get to $50, and if I don't want it, I'll return it once I get to the store.

Great find! We use glass jars for food storage in the fridge, but it does not work well in the freezer for meal prep & leftovers for lunch at work. I hate plastic, but I hate glass shards all over & wasted food more.
