These are for slim feet if you need anything even moderately wide they will kill your feet

I have those in Dark Brown Full-Grain. Once broken in Smoky Mountains they are my favorite shoes to run around in Chicago winters. I like the Olive Nubuck variation, too.

The leather wp version of this is a nice hiking boot. Did not know they made a canvas one.

Are they good to wear in the snow even if they're not water proof?

I have the waterproof version of these. The anti fatigue bottoms really make a difference with little to no break in period. Some may not like the softer bottom. Quality wise they are on par with Merrell (my usual) but nowhere near a Danner.

I'm a 12.5 and these only come 12 and 13 , do they run large or should I go with a 13

I would say they are not good for snow unless you're talking about only a couple inches
