$999 at Costco and you double the power
Show me where. The $1000 Costco PC has a 14700 and a 4060. That ~10% better CPU and a ~10% slower GPU (albeit on newer architecture). I'd get the Costco deal over this but don't mislead people into thinking it's double the power when they are very similar in performance.
Rookie here. One that has never owned a gaming PC. I'm just thinking about giving it a try. Speaking to the more skilled PC people out there. Will this be a big jump graphically from an Xbox Series X?

It will be a graphical jump in many cases, but that wouldn't be the reason to jump, necessarily.
PC gaming gives you access to Steam, GOG, emulation, and all sorts of other ways to enjoy games without subscriptions.

Graphics are no longer the reason to get into PC gaming. I enjoy PC gaming because I can have one machine to play pretty much everything. Emulators are awesome, and not paying for Xbox live / PSN alone has more than covered the price difference between a console and a PC.
"Very Good Condition" leads me to believe it's been used and not actually refurbished in any way.
This could mean that it still has a BIOS version that predates the microcode fix that came out for the 13th and 14th Gen processor issue. If it's been used for some time without said fix, it may have impacted the longevity of the processor.
Whereas, the one for $100 more is certified manufacturer refurbished. Chances are, the refurbishment was simply to apply that BIOS update and may be brand new otherwise.

I got one at this price a year ago, too.
Have you had any luck changing the fan curve? I don't like that the case fans are set at 30% minimum at all times. Can't override PredatorSense.

Plus you use the pc for other purposes.
