For some reason Chase charges more tax than Costco.
Costco is re-stocked on the ethernet model for $135. It came out to only ~$4 more at Costco with a better return policy.
Bad deal folks. Chase point redemption is best spent at 1.5 cents per point at minimum. We used to get better rewards and flights for more then $0.015 long ago
Not everyone has a premium Chase card that gets them 1.5 cents per point. For someone who only has a Freedom or Ink Cash, they only get 1 cent per point.
Also, you don't have to pay with points, you can get this by paying with your credit card.

As a multiple Apple TV owner over the past decade+, I recommend having a look at the new Google TV Streamer. It's as fast, if not faster than, the ATV. Better cross-platform capabilities. Lots of free TV channels included. And it can handle Matter & Thread devices as well. All for $99 (reg. price)
This guy is either extremely uneducated or just a google fanboy. Apple TV has been proven to be faster than google TV. This comment makes no sense.
This is a great deal, although for 99% of buyers out there a little Roku stick or Fire stick will do fine. The apple tv is more for audiophiles and people who need the extra features. I barely use mine day to day anymore to be honest. I use 4k blu rays or regular blu rays for movies and my Roku for everything else. $25. done. Used to use Koki with my apple tv but now I just buy the movies I want and for tv shows the Roku works more seamlessly. It's a great device though for the 1% who really use the extra tech.
As an FYI, this device is likely to be replaced with a hardware upgrade in the near future. We are around the 783 day mark since it was released. Twice, AppleTVs were replaced on a 3 year cycle, usually on a 9-21 month cycle. These will likely see sharper discounts in places before new models are released.
A new apple TV model is expected...buy only if you can not wait
I'm still rocking my Apple TV 4K from 2017. Changed multiple TV's during this period but the Apple TV is chugging along buttery smooth with Dolby Vision/Atmos/HDR.
I haven't found a reason to replace it yet. I also have a fire stick 4k which I use like once a year for things which require VPN.

I wouldn't upgrade. I have the latest 4K 128GB. Device is fast but the remote is terrible. I'm 8 feet from the device with direct line of sight and if the remote isn't pointed directly at it it sometimes doesn't register. Our Fire Stick behind the TV didn't have this problem.

Second best is transferring points to Hyatt Hotels, a value of roughly 2 cents per point.
Does the card type matter? I only have lowly freedom/doublecash
I used points to buy an iPhone 16 pro and it arrived in less than a week in perfect condition

Value depends on your perspective. I'd rather spend the points on a 5-star hyatt than sleeping in a fancy couch on a plane.

Various cards earn Chase UR points but only premium cards that carry an annual fee allow points transfer to travel partners.
