I did this last month and still no credit. The offer actually disappeared when I made the purchase, so I'm hoping that means it'll get processed eventually, but it's testing my patience for sure.

Now I'm in a back and forth with Chase because they're claiming my purchase didn't qualify (it absolutely did). This is the second time recently that Chase hasn't honored an offer terms and I've needed to fight back with screenshots.

Update: They now concede my purchase qualified, but are saying enough time hasn't passed for the offer to credit. Don't believe I've ever waited a month+ for a Chase Offers credit before, but we'll see...

i found that booking airline tickets through their travel portal is quite a bit more expensive vs. trying to get tickets on your own . anyone else has this same issue.

What was the reason they gave initially on your purchase not qualifying?

"the transaction was made on July 29, 2025 and the offer was activated on July 30, 2025" - however, that was confusion on their part - they were referencing a new offer that was activated on July 30, not the original offer I had activated well before that which expired on July 29 (the date of my purchase). Ultimately after a couple follow-ups, they did issue the $100 credit, but I suspect some kind of glitch occurred because I made the purchase on the same date of the expiration. I adhered to the terms exactly and definitely qualified, but admittedly pushed it right to the last minute. That's the only reason I can think of for why this took so long and wasn't triggered sooner. They never gave a good reason as to why it didn't trigger from day one (at one point they said I hadn't waited long enough and asked me to wait 10 business days, which I did, and then followed-up again 15 business days later), so this is all just theory and now I'm left questioning if I should ever use Chase Travel again.

Not true. The transaction needs to be "made" NOT posted. There's often a delay for when a transaction gets posted, of course.

Sorry for the delay. The purchase should qualify. That said, I did have to set a reminder to follow-up with Chase to get my bonus. They did ultimately honor it because the purchase was made within the stated period.
