This thing is great. I picked one up for my hemi that has 16 spark plugs, this makes the back ones, particularly the drivers side, much easier.

I bought this set some time ago for $40, definitely a great set, but I find myself using the 11" about 80% of the time across different vehicle makes

what is that black ring and the blue ring inside? I was looking at the similar ones on amazon and they don't have those..

Probably rubber or silicone o-ring to protect the sparkplug ceramic part from hitting the metal part of the socket and develop cracks. Doesn't seem likely to me but I guess it could happen. Non-magnetic sparkplug sockets usually have rubber insert to grab the sparkplug but it usually is thicker.
