I bought this TV in July for $250. The backlights went out. Insignia made it nearly impossible to use the warranty. I actually just gave up. Recycled the piece of junk.

Sucks. I've got the 43" non smart version of this and that thing is a TANK. We use it for a pool TV and it's blown over at least 6 times, sat out in the sun in 110 degree heat. Thing keeps chuggin. Kinda hoping it'd break so I could get a smart TV/bigger one and not have to haul out my roku stick with it. Guess the quality control isn't very good.
