- 13900hx obliterates this cpu in gaming and anything else. Plus, 14th gen is even better… (It came out 2 years ago.)
- RTX 4080 (mobile) has been out for like two years. 5000 series around the corner. (January is rumor.)
- Ultra series is much more efficient, but doesn't make sense on an 18" gaming laptop.
- AI is worthless.
- You can add all the lipstick (mini led, 64gb ram, 2tb ssd) you want, but a pig is a pig
- Core Ultra series is a huge flop for Intel, compared to AMD, this year.
- Way too expensive as well.

This is a thin and light gaming laptop and the CPU performance literally won't matter at the resolution of this monitor. You're gonna be completely GPU bottlenecked so the extra CPU efficiency is more valuable from a portability and battery life standpoint.
This is, however, overpriced for the hardware as you could get a 4090 with for this kind of money for laptops, but you're not buying this for just the hardware, you're buying because it's a fairly competent gaming laptop in a large form factor that isn't heavy. The mini LED screen is also very nice and costs a pretty penny with most laptop manufacturers right now. The AI in the name is literally just branding because all the companies are doing it, ignore it. The only laptop even remotely comparable is the 18" Razer which is almost double this price. All the other 18" laptops are very large and heavy and intended to be desktop replacements and not a thin and light gaming laptop.
I just placed an order yesterday for an Open-Box Good condition of one of these at Best Buy. Basically the same spec except 32GB of RAM and 1TB SSD, but still has the Ultra 9, 4080 and the 4k Mini-LED screen. It totaled up to just under $1800 after tax. Problem is it was pickup only at a BB that's 2 hours away... At $1800 is it worth making the drive to pick it up or is this thing going to be a major letdown? For some reason there is very little coverage about these Stealth 18s with basically 1-2 reviews and no true reviews on YouTube. I'm leaning toward cancelling it right now because it seems like a gamble.
