I have never had good luck with these things. Every time I need them, they are either dead, half way charged or not enough juice to jump my vehicles. It is hard to know exactly when a battery is going to be completely dead, or if someone leaves a light on. I rather keep a set of jumper cables as my primary way to jump my battery. Just saying...
check out the Gooloo GP4000. Works every time for me.

Puts the $90 Noco GBX45 I bought two years ago to shame, assuming it will have similar longevity and reliability, which I suspect it will. These have gotten really good.
no it doesn't

noco has overdrive this doesn't

its not even in the same realm

yes its nice to have all the features but when your battery is at 0 this wont be the thing to rely on

Depends on size of battery needing jump. Batteries are bigger now, it may or may not work @ 75% capacity.
It will cost more but if u have a gooloo 4000a battery size will never be an issue.
Used mine on a forklift several times put it rite back in my truck without charging it and used it for at least 10 more jumps and it still had power.
I have jumped a car when it had 20% I have left it in the car in over 100 degree weather for several days and also when snowing outside.
i used it to move a car that didnt even have a battery in it.
my Honda had electrical issues and I had to use it at least 3 times a week for a year and probly charged it less than 25 times in 4 years there is now something rattling around inside the case and it still works like new gooloo is the goat.
I did however pay $140 but for what it is I would gladly pay double that

If a battery is at zero there is nothing you can rely on accept a new battery however the jump starters with the boost button can revive dead batteries that in the past would have been unchargable and considered no good.
but nothing can bring a battery back from zero accept maybe a rebuild

what if its at 0.5% will this battery jumper jump it without overdrive?

Way to miss the point and explore a tangent nobody was interested in exploring.

I really want this but I can not justify the purchase.

I have a simple charger from years past (at least 5 years old) and I purchased a wired compressor for air pressure.

I actually used my charger a few weeks ago, helping a van out... it still works.

But if I did not have what I have, I would jump on this deal or try to find a similar priced 4000A deal.

How does this compare to the AVAPOW Car Battery Jump Starter 4000A Peak with Air Compressor, 12V 150PSI Portable Jumpstart with Force Start Function, Portable Starters for Up to 8L Gas 8L Diesel Engine, PD 60W Fast Charging in Amazon with 30% off coupon, it come to $56

It look like the same thing to me. But, in Amazon is said 4000A.

There are a few issues with jumper cables nowadays though...

Many modern vehicles can actually be damaged by jumper cables, especially if/when cables are plugged in incorrectly (backwards). These jumper backs (depending on brand/model) have polarity protection so they are MUCH safer than jumper cables. The jumper packs can also provide much higher starting currents than jumper cables due to losses across the length of the cable itself.

All of our family members have a jumper pack in our vehicles. My normal routine is to setup a 6 month calendar reminder in google that reminds me to recharge the jumper packs every 6 months to ensure they are always in a good state of charge. This will ensure you can start your vehicle when the unexpected happens.

I also recommend going with a high quality brand jump starter. The ones I have personal experience with and are excellent jump starters are:

Gooloo GP4000
Yesper Armor 3000A
Noco Boost (GB70 and up), the lower models are weak AF

Our Gooloo units are 7+ years old now and are still rocking! We literally used the GB40 to jump start my Tacoma like 3 weeks ago when we went to the drive in and ran the battery a bit too low to start it. I have started everything from my Wife's Mazda CX-5 with a 2.5 liter up to my buddy's 6.2 liter Chevy V8 in his Yukon XL, to my father in law's giant Ram 2500 Diesel truck with 0 issues.

I have had units from Aukey and Anker and a few other brands, but I do not recommend those for longevity and power output reasons.

Also in a pinch our jumper packs have come in handy as battery banks for our phones for our kids at dinner away from home.
