The game itself plays the same, it's relatively smooth but has small jitter when riding the broom in open world, but to me, it really does bother me a whole lot. The graphics is where alot of meat was sacrificed, however for being on the Switch, I think it still looks halfway decent coming from a powerhouse of a game. Honorable mentions would be hair and face details. The loading screens that people talk about really aren't that long. From open world to a shop is maybe 10 seconds and switch from Hogwarts to Hogsmead is maybe about 20-25. You won't be doing it often enough to really care, at least I don't.
I thinks its a fantastic port on the switch. It definitely has sacrifices, but is not at all unplayable. At this price, it's a MUST buy for me. However, I missed this sale and paid $20 for mine.
If you can game on a PC or a different console, and you're a fan of Harry Potter, I recommend it. The visuals of the castle are excellent, and it's worth it for that alone.
The Switch version has long load screens between each environment and of course much less visual flair. Seriously don't buy this version unless the Switch is your ONLY way to play games. Maybe if they update it for the Switch 2 next year to be in par with other consoles.

I bought the game on PC a few months ago for about $20. We're getting a switch for XMas so I'm tempted to get this deal just to have it on there as extra content. Although I expect the other games we're getting will get a lot more play.
