YMMV - I just walked out of the Costco by me and they were clearing out their TV inventory. They had two 77" S90DD's available at $1,699.97. I picked one up and there is one left at the Long Island City Costco.

I've just linked the costco website link, which shows it at $2,499.99.

They also had a number of other deals that I will create a separate post on.

Good luck! And also good luck fitting it in your car - it was a whole endeavor.

I asked this also, and they said no. I had to rent a minivan for this (doubled it up with a work car rental). It didn't lay perfectly flat in there but I was only driving about 1.5 miles, so I hope it's ok.

You can definitely uber xl it with the right vehicle.

Samsung has brighter colors while LG has brighter whites. Also depends on your criteria each have their advantages and disadvantages.

QD-OLED is the combination of Quantum Dots + OLEDS = best of both worlds.
Quantum dots are little crystals that perform direct conversion of blue -> red and blue -> green colors. There is no need to convert blue -> blue colors.
So there is no "filter" and the LED is blue (not white).
So a normal TV wastes 2/3rds of the energy on every colored dot.
A normal TV produces white from each LED and then throws away 2/3rds of the light with a colored filter, but some light leaks through, washing-out the red, green, and blue dots.

So quantum dot TVs have more pure colors, and they get brighter because they are potentially 3x more energy efficient.
LG refused to manufacture QD-OLEDs for Samsung so Samsung had to start making them themselves.

QD-OLEDs are the very brightest, most vivid OLEDs on the market, far surpassing LG G4 and all other LG OLEDs, with the highest Rec2020 color gamut of any TV ever.

However, there is a downside. Samsung stupidly refuses to License Dolby Vision sound so you have to use a stereo receiver or some other sound standard with their TVs. The guy who did this inside of Samsung was a big fool.

If you really want that Costco TV, then day-rent a UHaul to get it home, or do what I did. I dragged a 75" TV home 1 mile using a steel commercial hand-truck and some rope. It was a long trip (about 1 hr), but totally worth it for the 75" $499 TCL q691f which had a $200 discount.

Figured I would save some people in TX the trouble. I'm in the DFW area and it was regular price in my store. I had him check from OKC down to Houston, and the closest they could find was one store with 2199.

Really hope this does end up going on sale here and will continue to check.

For what it's worth, it's likely just this specific Costco by me. I don't know how far into NJ you are, but the Long Island City Costco is a much smaller store (by Costco standards), and I think given the size and demographic of the area, not a lot of people are buying TV's here. They're likely clearing stock that just isn't selling because the local market for it doesn't exist.

They also had stock of a lot of 77" LG B4's for $1,199.97 (from my other post). Might be worth a trip to check it out.

You're not, but for a small distance and with the Costco warranty, I was fine with it as long as I drove slow. You'd be hard pressed to find a vehicle to transport it standing up, short of renting a moving truck.

Does the lower price reflect anywhere other than walking in the store? Like the Warehouse section of the App? Otherwise I will be calling the business office at a warehouse and asking them to tell me the prices at all surrounding stores and being a total PITA
