At that $400+ MSRP and it's full polyester? Thats the same as many cheaper comforters.

Very misleading of Woot. Organic cotton comforter leads us to believe the fill is also organic cotton.

So, given that it's a polyester fill, is this really anything special compared to the $40 comforters at Ross, Home Goods, TJ Maxx, etc. ?

We really liked their sheet set. As good or better than our Kirkland sets we've used for years. So I'm sure the comforter set is decent and holds up okay.

Our Pottery Barn blanket we love is also some type of poly fill and is significantly better than some cheaper poly filled blankets we have around the house, so we'll see how this one compares.

Scooped one for our family white elephant - so if I'm lucky I'll just end up with it, and if not it'll be a good gift 😅

The answer is you're paying for the cost of the organic cotton outer cover. There's a premium on that, whether you think it matters to you or not. I have to believe the stitching is better than a regular $50 comforter but will find out soon. Made in India.
