You're asking a subjective question that won't benefit you nor anyone else. You do you
So no one should ever ask anyone about their opinions on products? That's a pretty ridiculous opinion, but I guess that's just subjective so I'll just do me...

Is this still considered the best for the switch though?
There are three versions for the switch, all are worth playing. This is the newest one that came out though. Maybe try that, if you want more mini games, grab the older one(s).

It depends on what you're looking for. All have their pluses and minuses. Fwiw, we love Mario Party Superstars in our house, but haven't played Super Mario Party or Mario Party Jamboree yet.

This is a repost, it hit front page before Black Friday, it kept getting delayed so I just went to Costco for $52.99. The game is fun btw, a lot of new concepts. Worth it.
The North American version comes with 3 mos of Switch Online membership. Woot version doesn't.

In your opinion alone, is this one is far better than Mario Party Superstar? I'm just being open minded here

Dang bud, who hurt you?
Anyways, in my opinion this is the best of the three Switch releases. No rehashed boards, and an emphasis on brand new mini games, with some classics peppered in.
But with all that newness, the gameplay is very back-to-basics, with the newer ideas (Buddies, for example) being more thoughtfully implemented. Motion games are optional, without feeling like anything is sacrificed, so that versatility is welcome (especially compared to Super Mario Party).
It's fresh and fun!
