I bought this refurbished vis ebay last year or the year before. We use it daily multiple times a day. It became our main vacuum and stopped using our corded shark. Zero issues so far.

Wow this is a great deal. I have two Dyson v10, bought refurb but came like new. It's been five years and still going strong. I suggest to buy the "Soft Double Roller Brush" (3rd party, search it up on amazon), it is a must have tool for hard wood floor. Also get the accessories hanger.

I love Dyson refurb. We got a hairdryer it's been running for 3 years smoothly. I'd assume vacuums are also solid. Must be manufacture refurb though, don't trust anyone else. If you are upgrading from a v8 this is a solid deal because the attachments also fit.

I really dislike that they changed the voltage. These batteries always fail within a few years and using power tool batteries in my V8 is wonderful. An upgrade is tempting though. My V8 has been beaten to death over the last 5 years.

Dyson has the same deal as well and they also have the V11 for 80 dollars more. Anybody care to elaborately on which is better between those 2? I've had the V8 for about 6 years now but it's getting tired

I would still buy it, I made the same switch and really appreciate a lot of the differences. It's only an opinion but I thought it feels much more refined vs prior models. Great price as well

I would go V10. Both are great. V11 has a bit more power and a digital display.

Do any of the dysons besides the v8/v7/v6 allow for power tool batteries with an adapter?

Checking to see if there is an adapter that used 2 m12s, for example, that would work with their new funky voltages such as 25.2 vdc in the v15.
