I've never been one for racing games outside the arcade. Do these add that arcade feeling to it? I'm very curious about vr games with racing wheels.

Ive been doing research for a few days on these, in the decision making to wondering if I should get one or not. Most give the user that thrill their driving and really put them in the seat of the game. There's a lot more out there just like this and get more expensive the more you want more detail to precision on the feel of actually driving. Knowing how expensive it can get, I think I'll be going with this deal. As a starter I don't see it as a loss at all. There's also a side buy product that goes perfect with it, and that's the stick shifter. It's amazon too, so even if you don't like it you have time to return it

Got it yesterday from bestbuy with price match from amazon. With taxes it was just short of 250. Added a filler item and got the total to 250+. Used Amex and got $25 back

I haven't tried VR but I have tried this wheel and a few others (own a fanatec csl dd). If you are only looking for an arcade feel this is probably the best. Once you get to direct drive wheels they are more expensive and more suited for racing simulators. I think this + vr would be amazing for stuff like forza.

I haven't tried VR with it yet with one; but the racing wheels add more realism to driving games. It also improves your driving score times. Steering wheel controllers give you the ability to control your increase and decrease in speed by variation, instead of on/off with buttons. Because the wheel will spin with the direction of the car, you can actually learn better real life driving skills.

Or if like me; it can help you retrain your brain with all the thought processes after a TBI and 6 months being chauffeured around. Trusty PS3, Logitech wheel and GT5 to the rescue.

Looking forward to GT7 and a Logitech wheel on the PS5 this Christmas.

It's fun, just know that it is a lot harder than the controller. You will need to adjust more than 20 settings and each game will be different. More than likely you will get frustrated and stop playing with it. That said, once you get the settings right and you practice, it's very fun.

I have a Logitech wheel/pedal setup for my PS5. VR is pretty awesome on GT7.

I do VR with a G29 on PS4 & PS5 using PSVR and PSVR 2 and let me tell you, it's INCREDIBLE with a wheel and pedals because you no longer see them - you see the ones inside the car and you are literally in the driving suit. I felt like I lost 50lbs! Hahaha.

Reddit said that G923 is not much better than G920, whose refurbished version is $145 at Logitech.
Can any expert comment if that is true?
