Seems like one heck of a deal, especially without the need for credit card signups or gift card submission.

Plus, there's free installation which has been previously mentioned.

My Perilli tires came to $830 with free installation, tpms, disposal fee, Lifetime rotation and balance, etc.

Discount tire would have cost me $1200

Too bad, discount tire is closed on Sunday and online price match needs 1 business days. By the time the request is reviewed online or in store on Monday, it will no longer be available at Sam's club

I recently got a full set of tires at the dealership (I know - their labor is outrageous) because they were willing to price match the tires with Walmart and give another 10% off. If discount tire and dealerships price match, it's worth calling around to see if Firestone or other national brands also price match?

The tires were bought from Walmart online. Walmart offers $28-29/tire with everything valve stem, road hazard, flat repair tire roate and balance. Do you think walmart prices on install can be beaten by significant price difference.
Costco, Sams or discount tire don't come close to $28/tire.

My tires are from Costco and they are teared earlier than the mileage guarantee and I need to change them. Is there a way to do this deal and get some price back from michellen later?

Not showing free installation for me sadly. Tires are still a good deal but that extra $80 would have come in clutch! $832 for a set for 4 tires for my 4Runner.

How good are Sam's club installers? I'm very picky about who does work on my sports car. I'd rather not save money only to come pick it up with a scratched up rim.

Just make sure to get an alignment after a new tire install, which is something Sam's Club or Costco doesn't do.

Just a FYI, BJ's clubs are currently offering free installation on tires
Also you don't have to be a member to get the OTD price compared to SC which hides certain tire prices to utilize for price matches..

Discount tire website has the option to chat with an agent and they will verify the price match at Sam's and send you a quote to your email with the same price as Sam's. You can then use that quote to schedule an appointment at your local Discount tire. I did this recently. While paying online you can also use Chase freedom card with PayPal to get another 5% back.
