I have had 3 of the klein tools fishing tapes and every one has jammed and broke. My Milwaukee brand one has been working great for 2 years.

I was about to buy it, but the combination of multiple comments saying it jams
Along with it being a "frequently returned item" for likely the same reason
Has dissuaded me. Thanks for commenting guys 👍.

to the person TDing people bothering to add their personal hands on experience with this ...why? you disagree with their experience so you think it's unhelpful? positive reviews only on SD? I don't think this forum is to encourage buying everything and anything- it's odd how defensive people get about info that might dissuade purchases. y'all own stock in SD/the brand? I really don't get it. we have plenty of shills and fake pump comments, we need a few criticisms

still have a steel of theirs. It's not great. I think steel in general isn't. Fiber glass is great. Though my Klein fiber glass broke too but I blame user error as it was jammed due to bad conduit and perhaps excessive force.

Just curious and always wanted to ask this: How do you find out how many TUs or TDs a post was given?! Tks!

I own the same fish tape i've had it for about 5 years now, works great i'm really not sure why you've all had trouble with it. use it every day in a commercial electrical application for short runs between boxes or in a wall and have loaned it to people many times no complaints, though the plastic tip did break off but i just bent it over and taped a loop on the end works just fine. great deal imo

The visibility depends on how you are viewing the forum:
On the app & on the new view on browser, it should appear right below each comment.
If you're using the classic/older view on browser I don't think it's visible at all.
If you open the post URL in an incognito browser tab it will likely default to the new view and show you the voting

EDIT: TD on *this* being unhelpful too?! 😆

I'm just a DIY homeowner but I've used this for years and it's been great for me. Picked it up at my local Home Depot for probably double this price so it seems pretty slick to me.

this one still says "Made in USA" but I believe the quality is not as same as it was.
