It's nice, small, and light to carry around. Does my laptop sometimes use more than 30W? Yes, but it has a battery if it needs more, and the times I'm using less, it'll top the battery back off; and if I don't use it (quite often), I'm not lugging around a heavy charger for no reason.
If I know I need more power, I've got a massive adaptor in my trunk (80W? 100W?). But this is generally enough for me. Even if the MacBook battery is low, it'll charge it overnight.
