If I was going to play on PC, I'd rather pay the $2-3 more and get it on Steam (less for the higher tiers).

I played both and definitely prefer FH4 out of the two games. They're based in different countries (therefore different maps), 5 has bigger map, improved on car noises, and I also prefer the expansion on FH4. If money is no issue, go for it!

That you'll never be able to buy this game again in just a short while. That said I think if you are just looking to play one get whatever location interests you more. I personally liked 3 better than 4, though 3 was also my first Horizon game so I might be biased as everything was fresh to me.

Make sure you buy the Ultimate because ALL DLC is going bye-bye and you'll get stuck with the stock game. The Ultimate gives you 2 houses instead of 1, tons of cars, and many Wheelspins including Super Wheel Spins which will give you a lot of money and even more cars! You'll level up so fast too. I just bought the Ultimate and it's really loaded with free stuff.

I've been playing Horizon 5 for a year, and I think the scenery and seasons are MUCH better in Horizon 4. The games play pretty much the same, but Horizon 5 does have more content. In Horizon 4 you get the UK with 4 seasons of weather, but in Horizon 5 you get Mexico with rain and... no rain.
