This is a one-day-only sale price at Lowe's (ends in ~18 hours). Amazon hasn't price matched so far.

If you're in need, this Lowe's deal is the slickest around.

I've picked up some clearance v series. Haven't used them enough to know if they are worth anything. Once the lifetime warranty went away with sears I haven't cared for the Stanley tools.

I like it, but I don't like the cheesy thin plastic mold horizontal storing throwaway case it comes in, I like the vertical storing trays

that said this deal is pretty damn slick at about 66 percent off the amazon selling price and way below msrp

But for real. Some of the best tools I own are Taiwanese, with few exceptions (USA). They tend to be high quality for reasonable price, though I am speaking quite generally.

Isn't the Craftsman ratcheting t-handle set [lowes.com] more practical tho since it comes with adapters for various torx/allen/triple-square sockets and bits? Too crazy to have so many t-handles in the toolbox.
