My kids got this as a gift, it's junk. They had fun with it for about 15 minutes but there's not much to come back for after initially figuring it out. The plastic mechanisms feel very cheap and just barely work well enough to basically function.

I'm rolling the dice. Most of the time when I order something on Amazon with a delivery date that far out it comes earlier than expected.

Yeah a lot of times I think when the price is ridiculously low they're trying to up their order quantity by co-purchasing the purchase order with customer money

4 week Prime shipping and all of your favorite TV shows, now with ads! Just $14.99 a month!

It seems ridiculous, but this is what people are paying for and they wouldn't be doing this shit if people stopped paying for it.

Would you rather them just mark it out of stock then instead of letting you backorder it for later lol

I'd prefer them to offer 2-day Prime shipping guaranteed like they used to offer for the monthly cost. Seems like a reasonable expectation considering they did it for well over a decade (before they quietly removed the guarantee), are charging monthly for the service and are subsidized massively by taxpayers (they're the only company that gets to use USPS to deliver on Sundays!)

But since they are hellbent on enshitification of their products and services to maximize profit, I'd prefer people shop with competitors that often have better service instead of paying this bloated company for nothing.

I don't really care how they handle their OOS items, I'm more shocked that people actually pay a subscription fee to such a garbage company that would charge them for oxygen if they could.

I mean I get it, they are a race to the bottom company that keeps getting worse now that people are fully compliant and have no plans on unsubbing with tons of things to seethe about but this isn't one of them lol. What other modern company do know of that allows you to lock in a price and backorder items up to a certain point. This isn't a matter of all prime items not being able to be shipped and delivered in the time that you thought you agreed to, once it goes out of stock it's no longer going to have "prime" fulfillment
