ego is probably the top choice for consumer level yard tools. sure if you're already invested in red or blue battery lines you could go those routes, but the consensus is these higher voltage platforms are the way to go

The rapid reload on these trimmers is a god send (1-2 acre lots with fences/borders etc rips thru trimmer line). I've had my ego trimmer now for 3 years or so-never let me down. For this price point I may buy it just to not have to lug the gear to my childhood home property.

Man, I just want a blower for auto detailing and, maybe, blowing snow off the one car we have parked outside.

I keep getting notifications for deals bundled with another tool I don't need.

I was bummed out I missed out on the string timmer/edger combo from this morning but I saw this post.

I'm new to EGO tools. As someone who is looking for the trimmer/edger combo, wouldn't this deal plus buying the edger attachment separately be a slicker deal? Or am I missing something?

$219 for this set + $149 (Edger only on Amazon) = $368 for Power tool, string trimmer, edger, blower, battery, charger

The previous deal appears to be the power head system that has different attachments like the edger. This one is a regular old trimmer. The edger attachement won't hook to this one.

seems like a good starter bundle if you need it now.. Haven't see a lot of EGO deals recently and it's usually better to wait for yard season. I have two of everything and seven batteries to burn through one afternoon with leaves and pruning. Found out my 4yo trimmer will take the newer rapid load head, just need to get around to it.

Same, i have a nice stihl gas power trimmer already, i did buy this and the battery one is easy for quick jobs though. You may be able to sell it ir give to family. The battery is the most expensive/valuable part of what u are getting.
