I have a 200+ pound CRT for gaming and I've been seeking a TV stand for a year now. They're not manufactured anymore, obviously, but I haven't even found anything decent at estate sales or thrift stores.

When I had a 36" Sony Trinitron I had to cut the top off of an armoire type of thing. Worked like a charm.

Yep, that's what I got. ~37" or so Trinitron. From what was essentially a nursing home, rarely used and never touched, just dusted off periodically but otherwise forgotten.

It's been sitting in my unheated garage for a year and I'm worried it's degrading. But I have no place to put it until I sort out a stand. I've considered an IKEA dresser or something like that, and I'd glue and reinforce the joints. The best, of course, would be an actual correct stand for it.

Have this in black. It's made by sauder. Good quality and very sturdy. Only issue is the magnet for the doors can sometimes fall off easy fix is a tint dab of glue to keep it in the punched holes.

Just curious, can you not buy two of these and that would take 76 lbs; because I am thinking to do that for my 85 inch weighing approximately 90 lbs.
If not this one, I might grab a similar 2 pcs from Ikea or Wayfair; will that be a bad idea?

This one is rated for 300lbs, less than $100; but width is relatively small, I don't know if that will work for you.

Thanks, I appreciate it. But this CRT is around two feet deep.

Any chance you could share the measurements for the inside cubbies and shelves? I'd appreciate it!
