If I don't use Doordash for delivery and just pick up, would it be the same getting $100 worth of food for $80 at a restaurant?

Inferior brand, I'd somewhat agree with. DoorDash's support team is one of the worst I've dealt with recently.

However, these gift cards do work with DoorDash promos.

Mostly yes, even better if you have a dash pass membership free through chase cards. Happy hour sales (start at 2pm) are the best buys using these gift cards.

That's mostly the case for Uber Eats. Don't think it is true for DD. I frequently purchase discounted DD gift cards since my wife uses it so much (mobility disability) and I've never had DD offers disappear while having a credit balance. Granted I have dashpass so I may be seeing a different set of promos from people who do not have pass.

Most restaurants markup the food prices when selling through Doordash, even for pickup orders.

Most restaurants also have tip jars. But they're saying this could be good with those happy hour specials (2pm-5pm) which range from 40%-25% off in my market.

There's only a handful of restaurants participating though. And I generally prefer DoorDash then feeling the social pressure of tipping even if I'm just ordering take out.

I think you should contact them. I had the same issue with paypal.

When I contacted them it had been 2 days, but they said they had sent me the codes. Maybe it was a system error or something cause I checked my junk, my deleted, and inbox and nada.

But once I contacted them, they resent the codes right away.
