I started my sim racing rabbit hole with a G923 and loved it - the truforce feedback with ACC and AC was real nice (PC only). I actually miss it sometimes because it was so simple to set up compared to the bigger DD systems, wheels, and the random software packages for each one.
You can easily increase the truforce strength with some minor manual config tweaks. Another easy and cheap trick is swapping the springs to give the brake a harder feel.

It was this price about a week ago, then briefly changed to regular price $299.99, then had a $30 discount to $269.99. And now back to the $100 off $349 price.

G923 is supposedly better because of the trueforce technology. I got the G923 last week and im happy with the purchase.
I considered upgrading from G29/G920, but after four years, Logitech's list of games that support Trueforce is sad. Quality is more important than quantity, so I'd be OK if it was well implemented in the biggest driving titles, but even there I've read comments that the effect in GT7 is nerfed/barely perceptible.

Anybody with experience care to comment?
G923 and XSX or PS5 running:
- Forza Motorsport
- GT7
- F1 23 or 24
- Assetto Corsa

Never heard of this brand but i'm also new to sim racing so excuse my ignorance. Which bundle do you recommend for PC gaming? Is it worth going with Moza over the Logitech?
Moza is legit but far more expensive. It's comparing a Miata to a Cayman S. Both are enjoyable despite the difference in performance.

LogitechG online has the same price if you bundle the items together and use code "andrew10". The benefit over Costco would be you get a free rubik cube and free expedited shipping. The Costco return policy may be way more worth it though. Unless you are a student, Logitech has a 30% discount. Not sure if it stacks with the bundle deal though.

tried doing research but anybody have opinions on G923 vs G29? specifically this: https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/l...ew_section
G923 has Trueforce (more vibrations in the wheel) and a progressive spring in the brake pedal. I went with G923 for the small price bump.

Seems wise to spend that ~$12 extra for the costco return policy in case it craps out just out of warranty.

I don't know how you're getting that price with shifter. The 15% first time coupon has many exclusions. "Andrew10" will get the wheel, pedals, and shifter down to a few cents over $250

As an experienced sim racer who has tried different wheels, I can tell you that direct drive wheels are a whole other level. If you are really into racing and plan to play it all the time, I recommend you only look at DD wheels. A Moza R5 or Fanatec CSL DD would be a great start. If you want to save money then check out the deals on marketplace, I bought my first Fanatec csl dd kit there for only $250 in like new condition.

If you don't play racing games that often and don't plan on getting serious about it, then logitech will be a viable option, but it will never feel like a simulation due to the limitations of gear drive technology compared to direct drive. If you don't plan on playing racing often, then I would also suggest looking at a refurbished or used logitech, which will cost around $150.

I like my G923 for GT7, bought it when I bought psvr2 and it's been amazing for me. I'm not a hardcore sim driver, as much as I wanted DD, I couldn't justify paying 3x for it. G923 feels realistic enough for me. This comes with the shifter too which is nice. I had to pay an extra $50 for that and $400 when psvr2 first came out and these were flying off the shelves.
