Ridgid has slowly but surely taken over my Dewalt stuff simply because of the LSA. This is very tempting

Decent price per Ah. I always look for $10/Ah or less. So, you are basically getting the charger for $30. Plus this all qualifies for the lifetime service agreement.

Nice one - this has been on sale for $169 for a while now, so an extra $20 off is great.

The play here is for the charger: it's twice as fast as the normal kit chargers, AND it charges both batteries at the same time. (So… 4 x as fast?!). Its sale price is $89, so an extra 4 batteries for $60 is definitely slick.

The build quality of these batteries is noticeably lower compared to the previous generation. But... still can't beat that LSA.

You are comparing Apples to Oranges. If you already have Rigid tools and need extra batteries, get Rigid batteries and charger set. If you like Ryobi and need Oscillating tool, get the Ryobi combo.

100% agree there. My 15 year old Dewalt set is on it's last Nicad battery of the 4th pack (8th out of 8th) so for Black Friday I switched over to Ridgid due to their LSA.

These newer batteries are cheap! My older ones still last longer.
