I ordered for $889 on Cyber Monday. Just got off the phone with their customer service and they said they would refund the difference to my original payment method.
I also called and got a ref number. I hope to receive the refund soon. With the reduced price, I do not complain the quality any more.

This is a 14" screen model (P14s). What 13.3" model are you talking about?
A dell. Doesn't matter. Point is about 1920 not being all that hot. For this money, I'd shoot for higher rez.

Most cashback sites exclude deals from Workplace sections of online stores. Beneplace is a workplace site on Lenovo.com.
Oh, I never heard of Beneplace before, but I see now that it's an employee discount program provided to various employees of various companies. But this deal is somehow open to the public. Not sure if Lenovo intended for this.

I have an AMEX offer for Lenovo for $100 credit on a $1200+ purchase. Not too helpful though here and wish the spend threshold was lower.

Your wording was confusing as it sounded like you have "this lappy" with a 13.3" 4K screen.

Shhhh...don't let Lenovo know. It's a discounted site that does seem to be open to anyone.

You can purchase if needed. But I like using Citi credit card to get two more years of warranty.

Any have experience with lenovo return policy? Do they charge restocking fees? You on the hook for return shipping? Thanks.
No restocking fees. I have returned a few times and the refund is painless.

That does not work in the Beneplace site (which is where this deal is). the site is already discounted so no additional discounts and other coupons do not work here.
Earlier this year the coupon code you can get for signing up for emails or whatever worked for me on a different VIP website. Not sure if that's still the case.

But there's no place to enter a coupon code?

A minor watchout with this model -- the battery life isn't great at ~ 5 hrs.

Review of both AMD and Intel variants:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gP_mVlpW8f0
The AMD he reviewed in this video has an OLED screen instead of the IPS screen this one ships with, from what I have read the screen difference also makes a huge battery usage difference.

I have the OLED but don't need more than 4 hours off power battery life.
