I just opened chat and once I had a live agent I asked if there were any further discounts. He created another cart and added a discount code. I think it was 10%
the final price with tax was $314.90 for the 55"

I signed up for AAA. It was $30 to sign up for year. So I justified the discount and other benefits of AAA membership

Does BestBuy have this model on display so I can look at it in-person?
Yes you can. It is the same model as Class Q60D available in BestBuy.

What are the thoughts on this TV? I've been looking at it for a little while and not a lot of reviews online. This would probably be our secondary TV
Here is the ratings review link, is same at Model Q60D available in stores.

I went to look in person. Looks better than my budget TCL 5 series I bought like 3 years ago. But its $670 without AAA discount and Bestbuy currently has the LG UT75 65 inch for $450. LG's is a bit dimmer but thats a pretty big price difference..

edit: talked to agent, they gave me 10% off. i bought it for $567 pre tax with trade in my old TCL tv!!!

You need more than 60hz?
The Samsung 46" 1080p TV that I bought in 2009 had 120hz. Idk why they even still produce 60hz. 50 series Nvidia cards launch next month and the 4090 can already deliver 4k 120hz or higher

Deal dead. Went through the process had the TV in my cart at 472. Started talking to a chat agent to try to get the extra 10% and suddenly the TV was gone from my cart and the chat agent said that it's no longer available in my area.

Yes. I talked to the delivery drivers and they don't even send it back to Samsung. They either keep the tvs or toss them.

Do you know if I can use the box that this TV comes in to use to trade-in my old TCL tv with??

they are both 65 inches so it should fit. I already picked trade-in when purchasing this.

The game has to be able and made to run 4k @ 120hz most games only run 4k@ 60hz. Also, many top gamers don't even run their games in 4k. The whole I "need" 120hz at 4k is misleading. Alls you need is "gaming mode" 1440p @120hz. Or preferably for best results 1080p @120hz. 4k 120hz isn't going to make a difference in picture quality. And for those wondering I have two mid level tvs with vrr and when I flip a game on and play it @120hz the lag does in fact go away. However, the picture quality dips. I prefer sharper graphics vs lag.
