Amex $25 off on $250+ can be used to lower final cost. FYI.

Damn great price. I bet this will be better than the new entry-level 11th gen iPad when that is likely to be released in the Spring for about $400ish.
Ya at best they give entry level 11th gen ipad an m1, which is lowest power supported apple ai soc, I don't see them even giving it the bad bin a17 pros in the mini 1 no scenario Apple gives it the m2

Where do you see the M1 for $110 less- Link? Thanks.
It was back on black Friday at Target. Came out to $359.99. Was just trying to decide if worth returning for this. But in my case at least probably not.

Oh I totally see them giving it the mini chip over the m1. Seems like the total apple thing to do

Trying to decide if an extra 128gb and m2 over m1 is worth paying an extra $110. Probably not for my usecase
Chip upgrade, Memory upgrade, and better wifi for 110 seems worth it to me

Not for the last few months. Target basically killed price matches with everyone

My only thoughts on this since your use case is probably pretty low intensity, is that for $110 you're going to get Apple updates for an additional 2-3 years beyond the M1 Air... and if Apple continues to add more "Apple Intelligence" to the iPad OS (which they will), even if you don't use it that stuff is going to be running here and there in the background, and a faster chip will help your iPad continue to run as smooth as possible.

Will it make a noticeable difference in performance? Probably not today, but 5 years from now? Almost certainly.

I love everything about the Air outside of the 60hz display. Please Apple, just upgrade the screen. Frown
My 2 cents is, in comparison to using my pro max screen, as long as I reduce motion / parallax on the air, the 60hz is less noticeable, atleast on web browsing / scrolling. Still acute with video playback, but feel that's alright, since the iPad pros and pro max phones are way more expensive. Apple should make these 120hz, but I don't find it to be a dealbreaker as I'm not a big gamer

Yeah. That's a good point. Would def add to the longevity. Again I wish it was a deal on the 13" model. If gladly upgrade if there was a decent deal for the larger screen. But better performance over the next 5 years wouldn't hurt

Off subject: Gotta love Target's New price match policy - Only 2 stores (Walmart & Amazon) However I Ordered an Apple iPad (10th Generation) 64gb for the kiddo (price match with Amazon $199) & Target sent me an iPad Air 256. Gotta love the seasonal help…. Just lucky 🍀🤷 ♂️
You must be the luckiest guy in the country - congrats - never heard of such a screw up - hopefully they don't realize / try to get it back from you before return window expires

You would probably get a better battery life. Unless you are doing video editing and other heavy task on an ipad you will not notice any difference. If you have a M1 Ipad - keep it. Most people won't be doing any heavy task on an Ipad. If you are then get the Ipad Pro M4. However it is a huge upgrade from an Ipad with a bionic chip.

Can you explain the difference more with video playback because movies are 24fps are and YouTube videos 60fps. How does 120 Hz help in this scenario?

If you have a BBY Credit Card, you might have an option of getting 10% back in rewards vs the regular 5%. Check on your BBY Credit Card page under offers.
